Questions
Including the ones with an answer you would rather not hear. A product that only publishes the flattering half of its FAQ is telling you which half to distrust.
Does PrepAtom give me study material or question banks?
No. It works on material you already have — your own PDFs and notes — which it splits into atoms and turns into flashcards from your highlights. There is no content library and no shared decks. The cards you write yourself are the ones you remember.
Will it tell me whether I will clear the exam?
No, and it will not guess. It reports coverage, retention, revision debt and nine other indices, each with the arithmetic behind it, and makes no claim about an outcome. Anything that did would be selling you a prediction it cannot make.
Can I see how I compare to other candidates?
No. There are no leaderboards, no percentiles and no peer comparison, and there will not be. For this audience comparison does harm; the only useful question is what you can recall on the day.
Do I need to pay for AI?
Not to us. AI features are optional and run on a key you add yourself, billed to your own account with your chosen provider. Reviews, the study plan, mock tests, the library and every index work without one.
What happens to my uploads?
They stay yours. Files are stored privately and served only to you through signed links, never made public. You can export everything we hold about you at any time, and deleting your account deletes it.
Is my caste, gender or disability status used for anything else?
No. Those are collected only to compute eligibility — age relaxation, attempt limits — and are never sent to an AI provider, never used for advertising, never used in analytics, and never included in an export to anyone but you.
Why does the plan sometimes tell me to do less?
Because doing less is sometimes the right answer. If your sleep and study logs show the pattern that precedes burnout, the plan reduces the day to due cards only. A tool that only ever asks for more is not measuring anything.
Is PrepAtom connected to UPSC, SSC or any exam board?
PrepAtom is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any examining body. Always check the official notification before acting on anything here.
