Refunds and cancellation

Before you are charged

The monthly plan begins with a 3-day trial. Your card is authorised at the start and charged on day 4. Cancel at any point inside the trial and nothing is taken.

Cancelling

You can cancel from Plan and billing at any time. Cancelling stops future billing. It is not a refund: you keep everything you have already paid for until the end of that period, and access ends when the period does.

If a payment fails

There are 3 days of grace with a retry. After that the account becomes read-only — you can still read everything you have written, and nothing is deleted. Paying resumes it exactly where it was.

Refunds

We do not publish a fixed refund window. Write to grievance@prepatom.org from the address on the account, saying what happened, and we will decide it on the facts. Where a refund is approved it is returned to the card or method it was paid from, usually within 5 to 7 working days — that timing is your bank's, not ours.

Every refund is recorded against the payment and appears on your billing screen, and the original invoice stays exactly as it was issued.

What is never refundable

AI features run on a key you supply and are billed by your own provider, not by us. We take no part of that and cannot refund it. If a request of ours cost you money at your provider and you believe it should not have, tell us — we will look at it, but the money is theirs to return.
